“Eric!

As the 12th century dust settles on The Master of York shoot, I wanted to drop you a line to say what a ruddy pleasure it was working with you.

I genuinely couldn't be more chuffed that we found you at the nth hour; you made all the difference. I know Kieron's thrilled with your stonker of a performance (I'm still being kept out of the edit till the producer's screening next week... so excited) and apart from that you were also just a total delight to have around.

So thank you so very much for joining us. Stay well, and also in touch!

All the very best wishes,”

"I had the honour of working with Mr Colvin, in his capacity as Actor, throughout production of the feature film, The Renata Road. He is the consummate professional, bringing an uplifting energy and enthusiasm to the set. He takes direction with ease, listening and adapting to the needs of the director and the film, and bringing his own ideas and suggestions to the character development process.

An extremely polite and professional individual, I would not hesitate to recommend him for future castings. His adaptability and talent allows him to undertake a variety of roles across the genres and it would be a pleasure to work with him again in the future.”

— Ed Greenberg, dir. Beyond The Bar (2017).

“Eric brought an insightful eye, an inquisitive mind and a lightness of touch to what could easily have been a heavy role. He tap-danced through epic monologues with a wonderful American accent in a way that had the audience’s ears ticked. He spoke at a slightly lower register (quite audible, nonetheless) with a foxy smile that complemented the boyish twinkle in his eyes. His was an exuberant take that had dear old me  grinning from ear to ear. The audience especially liked his stage presence, great timing and wonderful singing voice.

He was one of five actors in an ensemble piece and he was a great sport; a charming man, with wonderful moments of serenity. We had to replace one of the actors a few days before opening, due to some creative differences, and Eric's support and counsel meant that the newcomer had an instant comrade-in-arms. Any other actor would have given in to the pressure and lost it as there was so much work to do in just 4 days, before premiering at the Holt Festival in Norwich, but Eric was a cool customer who used his years of experience and team-player mentality to the production’s advantage.

I'm delighted to bring Eric to your attention. If you are looking for someone to go to war with, he is your man.  He comes highly recommended.

I, for one, can't wait to work with him again.”

“Eric has acted in four of my short films to date and has provided voice-overs for two of my projects. He has shown total dedication and commitment to each of our collaborations and I sincerely hope to be working with him in the future.”
